Thanks to EVERYONE who participated! We had an amazing number of comments and participants. It was really fun to hear what everyone would do with those lovely fall goodies. Oh, and now we've actually been having some nice COOL weather here in south-ish Texas, I mean like, highs in he low 80s and lows down into the 50s!! That's almost UNHEARD of for us this time of year. Usually it's still in the 90s and swimming weather.

I'm going to sneak in to the shop and drop the prices on a particular group of fabrics. But the only way you'll know is if you visit and check the shop for the discounted prices. Shh, it's a secret! OR I might offer a hint or even tell you flat out if you happen to subscribe to my e-mail newsletter. HINT: It might be one of the sections I mention below.

I've also rearranged things a little bit over there. I spent most of Sunday adding main category sections for Collection, Manufacturer and Designer. I hope you'll go take a look because I think the arrangement makes A LOT more sense now. You can even view fabrics that sort of go together based on a Theme or Print, such as Dots or Stripes, Graphic or Novelty. There is even a separate section just for Collection>Bella Solids AND Theme/Print> Tonal/Solids. I hope you'll let me know what you think of the new arrangement. Maybe drop me a line by filling in the contact us form on the website or leave a comment on this post. It's sort of fun, like rearranging furniture, you know? But don't worry, I think this is an arrangement I'm going to stick with for awhile.

400 Followers and Sporatic Posting

Wow! I am so excited we hit 400 followers! I feel so special! Thanks for considering us important enough to add to your reader list. As you may have noticed, posting has been rather sporatic lately. That is due to a lot of things going on in my personal life (yeah, lame excuse, right?) But guess what? I FINISHED the Luv U Charm quilt! And Pam and Marcie made really good progress on their charm quilts yesterday at the local Crafty Girls Workshop meet up! It really was a blast. Hopefully next month I'll remember to take my camera and snap some pictures! I literally finished the binding on that quilt yesterday MORNING and the meeting was at 2:00 pm! Please don't forget to stop by the webstore and check out our NEW design and add your comment to our guest book. It's A-LIVE!

Crafty Girls Workshop Webstore is Now Open for Business!!

Here it is, all in it's shiny newness. This has been a work in progress for several weeks and I'm so proud to say that our new website is now up and running! (Click the picture to visit the shop!)The address is:

I hope you'll add us to your favorites, bookmarks, list of shops to visit and come by often! Our Etsy store is still alive and well, but we will be phasing out listing everything in both shops (can you imagine? That's twice the work!) We want to focus the Etsy shop on a place to sell our shop samples. One of the best things about this new web store is that we can provide you, our customers, with the opportunity to purchase multiple yards (more than 5 at a time) without having to do a lot of back and forth communication. Don't get us wrong though, we LOVE to communicate, and there is a way to contact us through the website. But we know that sometimes with time zone differences, it can be difficult to wait for a response from us about setting up a custom listing with a certain yardage amount. Now you can easily just choose whatever amount you'd like and just add it to your cart! You can even purchase as little as 1/2 yard cut, just use .5 in the quantity box. I really hope that you might have some time this weekend to visit our new store and see all that we have to offer. We appreciate any feedback you want to send us, whether it's through the Contact link on the shop, adding a comment to this post, or sending me an e-mail, I can't wait to hear from you!
