Spring Quilt Market in Minneapolis

Unfortunately, we won't be attending this trade show for quilt shops this year, but we're hoping for next year! It will be so fun to see all the great new fabrics in person! If you'd like some sneaky peeks into what's going on, just visit some of the Designer's Blogs in the blog roll I have over there on the left sidebar.

Several of the designers are on their way and will be featuring pictures of booths, fabrics, patterns, and all sorts of other goodies on their blogs this week and weekend. I believe the market actually begins on Thursday so keep your eyes peeled. I'll post some pictures of the fabrics we're planning to get in August as well. Check back soon!

Nicey Jane Fabric

I was poking around on my computer last night, saving some pictures from my camera and I came across some pictures I'd taken back in October at Quilt Market in Houston. The picture above is Heather Bailey's booth, of all the beautiful Nicey Jane fabrics. Aren't they just luscious? We loved the vintage-y look and feel of them at the time but were rather overwhelmed by all the fabrics that we were seeing. We have now opened an account with Free Spirit and guess what!? Nicey Jane was at the top of the list of fabrics to purchase. Here are the fabrics we purchased from this line.

L'amour is in the Air

From what I've seen around bloggy land, everyone seems to really be getting into the holiday spirit, seems like it's just about the right time to start promoting Valentine's fabric!! Actually, we really liked this new line, L'amour, by Sandy Gervais, because even though some of it is seasonal, a lot of it isn't. There are SOO many cute patterns out there that used fat quarters and these would make up into some CUTE gift baggies for your children's best friends for V-day or just for anytime. New Fabrics and New Patterns

Check out these new fabrics we got at Sample Spree from Art Gallery fabrics! Their new line, called Girly Girl is all the rage and we've ordered bolts of almost every fabric in the line! While we wait for it to arrive, we've listed some of the 1 yard cuts we have, just to hold you over until it's all here. Take a look!

These are the patterns we have listed at the moment with lots more to come tonight or tomorrow. The patterns are from Pink Fig Patterns and as I said in the last post, kids' clothing patterns were all the rage at market. I really wish I had a daughter that I could dress up in these adorable clothes! I don't think my dog would really let me place dress up with her. And all the people I know who have kids have boys! But, we did get some cute boy patterns too. We only have limited quantities (one each) of these patterns, but we can certainly order some more if you want them.
