Destash Giveaway

Hi All!

Well, I'm only a day late, sorry about that. I got distracted with getting some more items scanned for the shop. In honor of my dad's 63rd birthday, and in honor of our Destash Sale and Christmas in July (lots of reasons to celebrate I suppose) we will be giving away the following:

We have 1/2 yard of this beautiful green holly fabric from the Merry and Bright line by Sandy Gervais for Moda fabrics. I think this giveaway should run until the end of July, so on Friday, July 31, I will draw a name from the entries. This fabric coordinates very well with a lot of other fabrics in our shop. :-)

Here's how to enter, please leave a comment and tell us about your favorite fabric. You can tell us the designer you love, such as Amy Butler, or if you love everything 30's, or anything by Moda. It's up to you. Don't forget to leave me your e-mail address or at least the address of your blog so I can get in touch with you if you win the drawing! Oh, and of course I'll give you an additional entry if you blog about this giveaway, send anyone over here from your blog, and/or become a follower. I am looking forward to finding out more about all of you.

I'll go first:

I'm Anna and I love Amy Butler, Heather Bailey, anything by Chez Moi (so far) and I do like some soft florals by 3 Sisters. I am also falling in love with 30s such as the Snippets line and I really like the Sweet line. Wow, I guess it's hard to pick a favorite.

Regina (the other Crafty Girl) really likes 30s and the Sweet line and soft florals such as anything by 3 Sisters or Joanna Figueroa (Fig Tree Quilts).

In this way, I think our tastes compliment each other, I like bright and funky, she likes soft floral and 30s but we're expanding our horizons and keeping an open mind.

Alright, enough about us, tell us about you! Happy posting!

Happy Stitches,
The Crafty Girls
Anna and Regina

  1. I know very little of fabric designers. I tend to still buy fabric for it's color and print...very juvenile I know. And I would think I lean more towards Regina's taste for fabrics because of Fig Tree. What I remember of those fabrics are the fern greens (my favorite color) and the rusts and soft color palette. Now, I'm starting to include aquas into my 'love that fabric' repatoire! I have admired quilts that are made from a 'line' of fabrics and love how they coordinate so well...I may try that someday. Oh, and I'm Shelley from northern Maine.

I do like the Merry & Bright range.

I am fairly new to "ranges" but as I am also a scrapper I would have to say that I love the Basic Grey range of fabrics. I have sultry waiting to be made into someting and as soon as "Eva" is out it is mine. Figgy pudding is also on my waants list(not a urban couture fan).

TY for this opportunity to enter.
