If you purchase a bundle and would like to add one of our great quilting magazines for the below wholesale price of just $3 you can do so without any additional shipping charge! Remember, these are 100% cotton, high quality quilting fabrics from Moda, one of the leading fabric manufacturers in the country! We're happy to cut as little as one fat quarter up to as much yardage as you prefer! There is no limit to the amount of fabric you can purchase at this discounted price! We have 9 bolts and we'd love to empty them all this month! Remember this post from Monday about the charm quilts? Both of those that my new Crafty Friends are making use OZ for the sashing! We still have several Boutique and Tweet Tweet charm packs available for you to make into quilts as well! Need more inspiration, check out the pictures I found on Flickr of stuff people have made with OZ!

Pretty cool, huh? Oh and don't forget we have TONS of patterns so you can make lots of cool stuff and post it on OUR flickr page too! Just add a pattern in with your order and we'll make sure you don't have to pay the shipping cost (or that it's refunded). I hope you'll have fun shopping, saving, and be sure to come back and comment on yesterday's post to be entered in the drawing for a charm pack and 1 yard of fabric!

Adorable Spring Time Dress

I've said before that Regina is a super talented sewista and I just drool over the stuff she makes. She wanted to test out a pattern we recently got for the shop called the Little Charmers Skirt and Jumper. Edit: Wow! This pattern is sold out, but we plan to order more asap! If you are interested in this pattern let us know so we can get an idea of how many to order. She made this adorable little dress out of just two charm packs, that's it!! This shop sample is available for purchase in our shop if you want to grab one right away. It is size 4T. There is only one available so better get it quick! This is a super duper easy pattern to stitch up really fast. Just add a little t-shirt (we got ours at a thrift store) and your little girl will be twirling in style in no time!

If you are interested in the pattern for this dress and would like to make one for your little one, now is the best time because we're having a buy one get one 1/2 price special on select charm packs. I hope you'll check it out!

CGW Sew and Show on Flickr!

Edit: The badge is now available! It's over there in the sidebar with the nifty code thingy that you can just copy and paste! If you have any questions about that, please e-mail me. Click the link below to visit the flickr pool and join in! Thanks!!

Thanks sew much to Amy from Positively Splendid who has offered to help me with designing a badge for the NEW flickr group! When we get that finished you can bet it will be the next post, but until it's ready, PLEASE do stop by the CGW Sew and Show flickr pool and join in and post your pictures! I've already put in a few pictures of things that Regina or I have made and I hope they will inspire you too! The idea is to show what we've made using our fabrics or patterns (or both) and we'd love to see what you've made! Don't worry, we aren't checking receipts to see if you purchased it from us. That's OK if you didn't but the exciting thing about flickr is that it's all about pictures and you can add a description to your pics. So you can tell us about the item, why you made, and where you got the inspiration. If you used fabric or patterns from our shop, well, GREAT! If you have a pattern that you've used and think we should carry, let us know in the discussion portion of the group. Well, happy stitching to you!

Cute Skirt SAMPLE Just Listed

This cute skirt, size 3T is now available on our Etsy shop for sale! Isn't it adorable!!? This is our shop sample for picture purposes and is the ONLY ONE! Regina used the Quilter's Quarters skirt pattern (which we have available in sizes 1-3 yrs or 4-6 yrs) and the Meadowsweet line of fabrics. The patterns and the fabrics are listed on our webstore if you'd like to purchase the supplies to make this cute skirt for your little one. Just think how fun it would be to ring in spring with a cute twirly skirt! I just figured out how to add the option to choose a fat quarter on each fabric listed, so you can browse the fabrics and pick out the coordinates you need and then just add the FQ option to your cart. This skirt uses just 4 FQs so for about the cost of one yard of fabric, you'll be able to make an adorable skirt! You might notice that the price of a fat quarter is a little more than just a 1/4 yard cut of fabric. There is a reason for that. First of all, it requires us to cut a 1/2 yard from the bolt and then cut that fabric in half, so we end up with a "stray" fat quarter. Also, these are not coming pre cut from the manufacturer so we've had to had a tiny bit in for the time it takes to cut the fabric. A typical fat quarter is 18"x22" and you'll probably have some pieces left over for future small projects. Maybe even enough to make coordinating hair bows or applique a top! I hope you have fun shopping and let me know what you think of this cute skirt.

Happy Stitches to You,
Anna
P.S. I got to go "shopping" in our inventory tonight to pick out some fabrics and patterns to make for shop samples too! There is some sewing in my future!

I'm linking this up at Kim's I Made It blog party (for Regina who isn't Tech Savvy) over at Everything Etsy.

One Pattern, Endless Possibilities

Isn't this pattern adorable? It's sooo cute and versatile and reusable in so many ways! You can use it to make little onesie dresses for your daughter, grandaughter, neighbor's children, best friend's baby, the list goes on and on. It only takes a standard onesie and 1/2 yard of fabric! Look at all the cute options we have right now for sale that are already cut into 1/2 yard pieces!
Here is a cute bundle of Snippets by American Jane.

It's getting harder to find this fabric. But it happens that we have a 1/2 yard bundle!

Check out this lovely group of holiday fabrics from Sandy Gervais!
All 1/2 yard cuts, there are 11 fabrics in this bundle and they are already prewashed for you!

These are just a sample of the many fabrics we have that would be super adorable made into little onesie dresses for your (or your friend's) baby. I think I'll try and make up a few since I have a friend who is having their first baby girl in October. Her name is going to be Lily and we happen to have some adorable fabric called Lily Pond that would be perfect! I've also started adding the patterns from our Etsy shop to our New shop, so that you can purchase yardage for a pattern at the same time you buy the pattern and the precut fabric, it's your one stop shopping destination! I hope you'll stop by and check it out! More gift suggestions tomorrow!
